Job Description
DescriptionThis role will be an advisory role with respect to, contracts and products for revenue recognition, accounting for tax matters, accounting for acquisitions in the US and in non-US regions. Responsibilities Include:•Provide guidance to Corporate and Division units on recording of all M&A transactions. Evaluate financial ramifications of proposed and current transactions and assist in planning. Advise corporate staff on accounting issues relating to tax, treasury and investor matters. •Remain current on new accounting pronouncements issued by FASB and SEC rulings to advise company on compliance and ensure compliant procedures are in place and working. Must also remain current on the developments of the Emerging Issues Task Force in order to ensure that the company is proactive in responding to proposed changes that could have significant impact •Aid in preparation of SEC financial filings (10-Q’s and 10-K) and for the Company's annual report, including drafting of the Management's Discussion and Analysis. Interface with senior leadership team, outside public accountants and attorneys, internal legal and communications departments.
Qualifications Mandatory minimum qualifications - Preferred CPABig 4IFRS experience is a plus
